If I had to ask a question of my classmates on this for them to discuss, it would be do you believe having a trusted brand of a multinational supply chain can make a company be great?

I can apply what I learned in the video by making the first small steps into business before going all in. That means researching and seeing what kind of objectives and opportunities you can get yourself in to.

An important thing I saw in the video was that rather than ostracize a certain industry because of social norms, it would be beneficial to do more research and invest in an industry where there is a lot of room for growth and a lack of competition. Holding a myopic view about the legality of certain industries could inhibit growth and potential for business ventures. Another important thing I saw was that by working with trusted and recognizable brands and companies, the marijuana industry will eventually be normalized alongside other industries. My question would be: Do you think cultural paradigm shifts influence the market, or do market changes kick-start cultural paradigm shifts?

The legalization of cannabis is imminent! It is going to happen. There is a global market untapped and is just waiting on the dots and lines. I mean, really, it is a plant that grows out of the Earth. You might as well make rattlesnakes illegal. Ban them all. Honestly, I am appalled at the stupidity of legislators and appalled that local and state governments don't already see the money-making opportunity that California, Colorado, and Oregon are banking on. "Weed" is WEED, people! Not only does it help with depression and anxiety, people like to smoke weed and relax. Why should you limit marijuana to medicinal use? If everyone is at home smoking pot, there is less people in the street dealing heroin and methamphetamine. If I had to ask one question to the class, it'd be have you used cannabis? Medicinally or for recreational use, and the side effects that you think could be harmful from using marijuana?

1. A lot of countries around the world already have legalized marijuana
2.He truly tried to emphasize that cannabis is for mainstream people and is a mainstream product
3. We are in the middle of a paradigm shift, globally we are shifting, they want someone who compiles with USGAAP
Question for class: Do you think that this is really going to be an acceptable action or will some continue to pull away from the concept?
I can take away from this video that obviously anywhere someone can try to make money then some one will always be there to pick up and try to do so.

This is something that is new and scary to a lot of people. Recreational use and medicinal use are very different. I believe that this definitely has it's pros and cons and more research needs to be conducted so that this is safe for the population. We typically hear the good that it's medicinal use has for people on the news, but the bad effects such as DUI car crashes and crime are hushed. Also, from an accounting standpoint, these companies need to be following the same laws that all other companies must comply to. I think the CEO stating that moving toward GAAP accounting systems makes it fair in the competing market. I feel that laws will be revised and there is plenty to learn, but this is something that we will be seeing more and more of in our future.

Something that I will take away from this video and this rising industry in general is an open mind. We have all grown up with certain stigmas and this new industry is breaking them slowly but surely.

1.With proper research, cannabis is actually very beneficial for medical purposes and even many states in the US have already and are in the process to legalize marijuana.

2. Marijuana is a highly marketable drug that is globally accepted therefore pushing to have the medical cannabis to be legalized for its benefits both in health and in the market.

3. With a few of the states already legalizing for medical purposes, it pushes for this mainstream product to be legalized in the rest of the states.

The three most important things I saw in the video were how there is a global paradigm shift in the legalization of marijuana, today marijuana is a mainstream product consumed by mainstream people, and how this became mainstream for investors. We’re seeing a global paradigm shift in the sense that more and more people are accepting of marijuana. This also became a mainstream product for investors because investment companies like Bluechip mutual funds and long-only mutual funds wanted a cannabis company to IPO in the US, be listed in the US, and to be regulated by the SEC & report financials according to US GAAP. This companies product is now available in 10 countries! If I had to ask a question to my classmates, it would be would they consider purchasing marijuana and if so what would be their reasoning behind purchasing it. I can apply what I learned in the video by informing friends of future investment opportunities. I also would apply this newfound knowledge in my own investment considerations due to this possibly being a lucrative investment option.

The three most interesting things that stood out to me where how he called cannabis a mainstream product in today's society. It makes sense with the more and more locations making it legal and more and more people using it. Secondly, how he believes it is a paradigm shift that could even have brand names and regulators in the future as more people invest and make it legal. Thirdly, how more and more people are looking to invest and how there is a demand for an IPO for cannabis not just a want. A question I would ask the class is would you invest in a cannabis company and do you see the product as a mainstream item?

After watching this video I learned that there is many business people who are betting that the marijuana market is going to take off one of these days. Also, that marijuana has demonstrated that it is beneficial used medically. Lastly, I learned that there are many other countries and some states that have legalized marijuana. I can apply this video to my life and understand that marijuana can be used to treat and help many health issues. If i had to ask my classmates a question I would ask if they agree with this or not.

I think cannabis will be legal in the United States probably sooner rather than later. It is interesting for him to really get involved with something on a business level that is illegal. It seems like there would be a lot of hurdles to jump over just to get started. I know their is a ton of money coming from marijuana in Colorado which is helping their economy out and could do the same in a lot of other places. I’ve heard a lot of arguments about the benefits of medical marijuana and I’m all for whatever helps sick people get better especially if it’s safer than taking a lot of addictive pills that have side affects. I learned that cannabis use is legal in Canada, I really had no idea that was true. I’m sure there will be a lot more countries following suit. I always thought it was weird that a ‘plant’ is illegal and people are in jail because of it.

Marijuana is definitely in course to flourishing as a market. Recently, I conversed with my cable man while he was switching out my faulty cable box. He stated that he was preparing a honey bee farm to filter and clean the honey for him to sale. The bees are to pollinate and/or clean the honey, so all he has to do is collect and distribute the honey to marketers, retailers, etc. Cannabis honey is innovative, it is new and it is inside of a potentially booming market which means it will sale. This also supports the fact that CEO's and many other big business owners like Brendan Kennedy will be looking to invest into the marijuana market.

The question that I would ask my classmates about this video is how profitable do they think this company will be in ten years?

The 3 most important things I saw in this video were:

1. Cannabis is a mainstream medicine, and also a mainstream product.

2. There tended to be this myopic view that cannabis legalization was specific to California, Colorado, or Canada, or North America. Their company believes that we're in the midst of a global paradigm shift,
3. They believe the cannabis industry, and also the trusted brands with a multinational supply chain will be the companies that will win.

I understand that this is a huge money making market if it open to the rest of the Nation, but is that something that we really want to be selling to people. I understand that this is a plant that grows from the Earth but the side effects that it causes is not a helpful substance unless its for medicinal use. My brother moved to Michigan for this reason specifically but their investor decided to drop out of the deal because it is a risky decision that will most likely not pan out in the end. A question I would ask my classmates, how productive are you when you get high?

A question I would ask my classmates is did you ever think that a drug that is illegal can be a new great idea for business?

One of the most important things I took from this video was that he was very smart to invest in marijuana in 2010 before others though it was a good idea. Also it was important to see how much legal marijuana use has spread since then. And I thought it was important that once the government saw how lucrative the marijuana business was becoming they found ways to become involved and make money from it. A question I would ask my classmates was if they had the resources would they invest in marijuana companies in the future?
